Tekka House: Authentic Japanese Sushi & Ramen Dining Experience in San Francisco

Stopped by with my friends for dinner before attending a concert at a nearby location. The food was very delicious, nicely prepared and served. They have a few vegan options or can make some dishes vegan. Their menu is always changing and they have daily specials. They serve delicious specially prepared tea. Street parking available, some metered spots, but free after 6pm.

This restaurant is small and popular, and had a really great selection of well-marked vegan and vegetarian rolls. The Miso soup can be vegetarian for an extra $1. Has Japanese beers on tap (Sapporo and Asahi). Service is a little slow, but unobtrusive and there were no issues with our order. It's a little pricey, but worth it for a nice night out.

Food and service is great! We dined two Sundays already during lunch time when they are not as busy and would definitely recommend.

Had an amazing dinner at this sushi spot! Every dish we tried was delicious, and the presentation was on point. We loved the cozy vibe of the place—felt really intimate and relaxed. The decor was beautiful, adding to the overall great experience. The service was fast, friendly, and made us feel super welcome. Can’t wait to come back for another fantastic meal! Definitely recommend this place if you’re in the mood for top-notch sushi!

Excellent food! I got the garden salad with the sesame ginger dressing, the most delicious thing ever. Also got the garlic butter edamame, also amazing. As a vegetarian, I was very satisfied here! Our server was very attentive and friendly, and we loved the indoor decorations and ambiance. Will definitely be back!

My wife and I have been coming here for about a year now. Service is always absolutely top-notch. The atmosphere of the restaurant is calm and inviting. The food… incredible. The quality of ingredients they use here is on par with the some of the so called “highest rated” sushi we’ve had in SF. It’s not the absolute cheapest sushi you can find here, but for the quality of what you get to the price-point. Tekka House can’t be beat. Just take a look at these two separate 12pc Sashimi plates I got over the past few months. Very high quality, and amazingly excellent selection such as Chu-toro and O-toro (absolutely melt in your mouth delicious). Most the time when we try a new sushi restaurant now, my wife and I just end up craving Tekka House.

Good, albeit unspectacular local spot for sushi. Service is friendly and food comes out real quick. Been disappointed in the miso soup being lukewarm every time I’ve ordered it. Not sure why I keep ordering it at this point. The small omakase combo platter for $25 is a fairly good deal considering we are in SF, but it’s on the smaller side to be a full meal.
